Kristin is a native of Gonzales, Louisiana. She earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2002. Kristin then earned her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in 2006.
Kristin began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Pegram Mire, Jr. of the 23rd Judicial District. She then worked as an associate attorney at a small firm in Prairieville, Louisiana for the next year.
In 2008, she became a staff attorney for GEICO Insurance Company. She practiced insurance defense for the next six years.
In September of 2014, Kristin entered private practice. Her practice focuses primarily on family law matters, including divorce, community property, custody and child support and wills and successions. Her practice is based primarily in the 23rd Judicial District, which encompasses the parishes of Ascension, Assumption and St. James. She also handles personal injury cases in all jurisdictions.
Kristin is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the 23rd Judicial District Bar Association. She is also a qualified domestic and civil mediator.
